Our History

DeMalia Firearms & Training is a small local gun store focused on customer service and low prices! We offer LTC courses, Basic Live Fire courses, A gun cleaning class, and a free Eddie the Eagle Safety Class for children.

Our Classes

Basic Home Firearm Safety Class

Non-shooting course and teaches students the basic knowledge, skills, and to explain the attitude necessary for the safe handling and storage of firearms and ammunition in the home.

More Details: This is a four-hour course for safe gun handling that is conducted in the classroom only. Students are taught NRA’s three rules for safe gun handling; primary causes of firearms accidents; firearm parts; how to unload certain action types; ammunition components; cleaning; care; safe storage of firearms in the home; and the benefits of becoming an active participant in the shooting sports. Students will receive the NRA Home Firearm Safety handbook, NRA Gun Safety Rules brochure, Basic Firearm Training Program brochure, course completion certificate.

Basic Firearm Live Fire Class

Some of the topics in the course include: gun safety rules, proper operation of revolvers and semi-automatic pistols, ammunition knowledge and selection, selecting and storing a pistol, the fundamentals of shooting, and pistol inspection and maintenance.

Teaches the basic knowledge, skills, and attitude necessary for the safe use of a rifle in target shooting.

Personal Defense Inside and Outside the Home

Class that will go over the carrying and using a firearm for personal protection both inside and outside the home. Covering mind set, cover and concealment, and go through some scenarios.
